Milk in first
Putting milk in the cup before the tea — a long-debated British habit.
Milk in first means adding milk to the cup before pouring the tea. Which order is correct has been argued over in Britain for a very long time.
Adding milk first lets the hot tea meet it gradually, so the proteins are not hit with sudden heat. Adding it afterwards lets you judge the strength as you go. Either is fine.
