Body is the sense of weight and thickness a tea has in the mouth. It runs on a different axis from astringency, and is closer to thin versus full.
A tea with body keeps its outline when milk is added, which is what makes it suit milk tea. Assam and low-grown Ceylon are the obvious examples.
