Golden Ring
Golden Ring is a golden halo that appears at the edge of brewed black tea in the cup, considered a sign of high-quality tea.
The Golden Ring, or corona, is the golden shimmering ring that appears along the edge of the liquor when black tea is poured into a cup. It is often observed in a well-extracted cup with a clear liquor color, indicating good quality.
It can be easily observed when poured into a white inner cup. You might find it more prominently in darker teas like Assam or Dimbula. It's one of the small pleasures of tea time.
