Royal Milk Tea

Tea leaves (Assam, Uva, or other strong varieties)
3 tsp
Water
150 ml
Milk
250 ml
Sugar
to taste

How to make

    Boil water in a pot and add the tea leaves, brewing for about 1 minute.

    Add the milk and heat until just before boiling, then simmer on low for 2-3 minutes, being careful to prevent it from overflowing.

    Turn off the heat and let it steep for about 1 minute.

    Strain the tea into cups and adjust sweetness with sugar.

To maintain the flavor, avoid boiling the milk; keep it just below boiling point.
