Second Flush

Second Flush is harvested around May to June and is known for its summer-picked black tea. The tea leaves, nourished by sunlight, are said to achieve the best balance of flavor, aroma, and body during this time of year.

The Second Flush from Darjeeling is globally renowned for its sweet and rich 'muscatel flavor,' reminiscent of muscat grapes. It is also known for the theory that the aroma is enhanced by the feeding of leafhoppers, small insects that suck the sap from the tea leaves.
